Andrew Livingston

Andrew Livingston caught these two big largemouth bass on Poor Boy's BBG creature bait on Shearon Harris Reservoir04/04/2011: Here is a picture (R) from this past weekend at Shearon Harris Reservoir. Caught several bass on the Poor Boy's BBG in mango magic.

01/30/2011: I am just emailing you to let you know how my season is going so far. Through 3 NC State club tournaments I am currently in the top 10 in the club for points. I will be going to the Bassmaster Classic in February and hopefully represent Poor Boy's while I am there as well. I will be putting in another order for Poor Boy's Baits before I start fishing my spring tournies.

Andrew Livingstong with two big largemouth bass caught on Poor Boy's Baits BBG - Big Bass Getter05/04/2010: These two pigs (L) choked the Poor Boy's BBG, along with about 30 more we caught yesterday on the BBG and the Poor Boy's Silly Rabbit swimbait!

Ben and Andrew Livingston with their 4 3rd place bass from a tournament on Shearon Harris Lake04/22/2010: Yesterday, my buddy Ben and I fished a tournament at Shearon Harris Lake and took 3rd with 13.8 pounds with 4 fish (R). Our fifth fish measured on my board but not the tourney board. We would have won with that fish. That's fishing though I guess. I caught my bass on the Poor Boy's BBG. It's becoming my go-to bait. We had a 5.36, 5.28 and 2 smaller fish. I also broke off a 10+ pounder on the BBG! I have attached a pic from the tourney.

Andrew Livingston with a big bass caught on Poor Boy's Big Bass Getter BBG04/19/2010: Here's a picture (L) from pre-fishing for my tournament this weekend. Threw the Big Bass Getter (BBG) and caught 17 pounds on the first practice day, 24 pounds on the next and over 20 pounds of bass in the tournament. Overall, a great weekend!

Ball State Bass Club

Caleb Carpenter of the Ball State Bass Club with a White River Indiana smallmouth bassWhite River Indiana bass caught on a Poor Boy's Erie Darter by Caleb Carpenter05/16/2011 Caleb Carpenter: I just wanted to thank you for making such a great product! Your Poor Boy's Erie Darter has done me wonders in the White River this spring and I know a number of others in our club have had a lot of luck with it too! Even with the rain I still found time to pull some off the beds when water clarity permitted. The Darter got me over 30 smallies last week and countless others over the last year! I've attached a couple pictures of fish that were landed with the darter. I wasn't the first one to get to one of them! Thanks again!

La Roche College Fishing Team

07/19/2011 Jonathan Coholich: I was able to meet up with an old co-angler that I used to fish local tournaments with. I took him fishing on the Allegheny River and let him try one of your Erie Darter Jrs. I told him a bunch of times how awesome they work with the smallmouth. He really did not believe me until I tied him one on. To his amazement, in three hours he caught more smallies than he could count. He was speechless about how well the Erie Darter Jr worked in the river.

Jonathan Coholich Rich Smith Smith Mountain Lake bass FLW College Fishing07/18/2011 Jonathan Coholich: This is the photo (R) that was taken after the FLW College Fishing event on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. We placed 7th with a weight of 11 pounds 8 ounces. We were using the Erie Darter with a weighted swimbait hook and also we were using the Big Bass Getter (BBG). In the picture Jonathan Coholich is on the left and Rich Smith is on the Right.

We took 14th place in the FLW College Fishing even on Lake Champlain, Plattsburgh Boat Basin, Plattsburgh, Ny. We were using the Erie Darter Jr and the DS Darter in the frog color.

07/05/2011 Jonathan Coholich: This weekend fishing the Pittsburgh Regatta Cup in the Three Rivers. I was using the Darter Jr in the frog color and rigged it weedless like a swim bait. I would twitch it to imitate a minnow being chased. I caught over three dozen smallies in the eight hour tournament. We also caught a few on the DS Darter in the black, and in the peanut butter and jelly colors.

06/06/2011 Jonathan Coholich: I did some prefishing today for the Pittsburgh regatta cup and those Poor Boy's Darter Jrs are working amazingly! 12 keeper size smallies and over 2 dozen smaller ones. The biggest was a 16 incher caught in the city of Pittsburgh! I have a good feeling about this regatta!

Pennsylvania outdoors article mentioning LaRoche College bass fishing team members06/03/2011: This is the article that was in the Pennsylvania outdoor paper about FLW college fishing mentioning LaRoche College bass fishing team members. Also want to inform you that in a local tournament I took 23rd and Rich from LaRoche took 36th out of about 100.

05/26/2011 Jonathan Coholich: The Poor Boy's Darter Jrs worked again at the local tournaments wacking the bass! Also got to use the KISS craw and the baby bass getters and they worked like a charm! My co-angler was using the Poor Boy's Goby Jrs and he was wacking them good too!

Just keeping you up to date on any of our newest news. We were also featured in an article in the Pennsylvania Outdoors News magazine. They got a good picture of us coming in on the boat at the Smith Mountain Lake tournament.

03/28/2011 Jonathan Coholich: La Roche College finished 7th in the Northern Division FLW National Guard College Fishing opener on Smith Mountain Lake this Sunday. We were paired up with local BFL fisherman Russ Nixon who was a great guy all round. He made this tournament a memorable first. We had a few fish on the line that would have broke us into the top five but we either lost them at the boat or did not get a good hook set with them. We were interviewed by the local Roanoke news station Channel 7 who ended up showing it during their nightly news and morning news the day after! This is the link to view the news story - http://www.wdbj7.com/news/wdbj7-icy-start-to-spring-fishing-tournament-20110327,0,3002078.story. All in all we are pleased with our 7th place finish but we are going to learn from our mistakes and make the Champlain NY tournament in June a better one.

07/02/2011: I was able to get my first win last year as a co-angler on the Mississippi River - Pool 12 http://www.ilbassfed.com/Tournaments/2010MississippiRiverPool12Story.aspx - and a good second place finish on Rend Lake here in Illinois.
