07/21/2010: I caught this 10 pounder at Conroe last weekend when my client decided to take a break using one of your cylinder dropshot weights in 20' of water. She originally weighed 10.2 on my Xtools scale but coughed up so many shad before I got her fizzed at the marina that she lost 1/2 pound in the livewell and weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces at the marina. So she was a sold 10 pounder before she threw up!

06/29/2010: I decided early on not to fish tournaments this year because I had too many guide clients interested in the various lakes I fish. Choke Canyon was a bust this year so I started heading further south to Falcon, and after a few trips I was comfortable to take a client for a 5 day trip-of-a-lifetime.
I've attached a few photos. All fish were caught on the green / white belly 6" Rabbit's I bought from you last year. Those baits are still going strong and every one of my clients has left my boat with at least one on their rods and presumably purchased a few packs of their own from your retailers.
One thing I may be doing a little different with your Rabbits when it gets warm in TX is throwing them as a 1/2 oz Chatterbait trailer in deeper water.
That's how this client caught a 10.5 at Falcon and I caught my personal best 11.2 the same way suspended in 12' of water over rocks and trees. Pretty cool, huh? I do snag quite a bit with this set up so I'm trying to find a bigger swimbait hook with enough weight to get these baits deeper now that our water is 90+ degrees.
07/13/2011: Lake Erie fishing report. Water temp is 73 degrees. Smallmouth bass action is very good. Lots of good fish in the 2 to 3-1/2 lb class. Buffalo Harbor and the Inner break walls are still producing fish. When the winds are very light try fishing the corners of the walls where the current flows around them. Smallmouth are starting to show up in water around the water intake (round house) at the head of the river. The deeper side of Seneca Shoals has been finding some bigger fish in the 4 lb. class. Try drop shot fishing a Poor Boy's Erie Darter or their goby bait on a red drop shot hook (size 2). This combination is hard to beat.

03/22/2010: Here are some photos of the 7lb 1oz Lake Erie smallmouth bass caught in the spring of 2009 by Delbert Davis, father of Mark Davis while fishing Terry Jones of First Class Bass Charters.
