11/14/2010: Went to Cedar from sunrise to about 2pm. Did not have working electronics and it took a while to get the boat back to running after sitting around for so long. I could not get anything going until I started dropshotting the outside weed lines. Was catching fish between 8-14 feet of water. All on a green pumpkin or watermelon Poor Boy's DS Darter. Nothing huge but I ended the day with a pair of pickerel and about 14 bass or so.
11/04/2010: Went to Candlewood Lake on friday 6/27/2010 with a friend. Was wicked nice out and we flipped pretty much all day long. We both got to test out my new prototype weedless jigs made with the special Honey Hole Hook I was using. We caught bass around 10 fow in either black blue or pumpkin patterns using a Poor Boy's baits bertha bug trailer. Here is a picture of one of the bass we caught.
07/15/2010: Pennsylvania co-angler John Stanco hopes to put his new Skirt Punch to work by flipping shallow grass for largemouths. Comprising a heavy bullet weight with an ample skirt, Stanco's creation is fished over a Texas-rigged plastic (Poor Boy's Baits Bertha Bug) to allow the profile of a jig without the constant hassle of snagging weeds. 06/03/2010: Co-angler John Stanco said he entered the tournament with an assumption of frogs and flipping. However, when he found himself struggling with a tough bite, he reached into his bag of finesse tricks and caught four bass on a dropshot.
